Overview
Beginning with the discovery phase of the product by talking with stakeholders to understand customers current experience with the product and what causes them annoyance. Then discuss with a technical team what the problem is so that technological workflows can be made for potential improvements. Then use AGILE to break down what needs to be done into small tasks and bring this to the technical team to execute
Skills
- Greatly improved communication skills particularly in asking questions to facilitate others to think further and wider - Confidence has developed as I have had to reach out and talk to many people and drive meetings
Responsibilities
Yes I was given a good level of responsibility by working and leading a real project which is being implemented at Tesco. There was lots of support and guidance so there was always someone to reach out to for extra help and to support with the project.
Support & Guidance
So much support available! There were so many people I could reach out to for help and everyone was so welcoming and wanted to help where they could. So many people were passionate about early careers and wanted to get involved and help the interns
Culture
They have a modern culture with a focus of health and wellbeing. Tesco clearly care about their employees and that was reflected by colleagues. Everyone was so welcoming and really helped you to feel part of the team even though I was only there for 10 weeks
