Overview
I was assigned to a manager research team where I attended a meeting with an asset manager to discuss the performance of their fund. I was also assigned to a client team where I helped draft a performance report and a monthly valuation. Finally, I had to complete many different projects throughout my internship.
Skills
I have developed my presenting, communication and research skills as I had to complete two presentations throughout my internship.
Responsibilities
Yes I was given the opportunity to draft two real pieces of client work as well as sit in on a manager research meeting.
Support & Guidance
Lots! My buddies were very helpful and anyone I contacted within the investment department was always keen to help.
Culture
LCP has a very friendly culture - everyone is very approachable and willing to help.
