Overview
Develop new features and resolve bugs using C#, taking available work from a list that is shared by the whole team and planned out collectively every two weeks Contribute to daily stand-up meetings by summarising work done the previous work day and plans for the rest of the day
Skills
Developed much stronger programming ability and learned new design patterns and philosophies to improve my future work Greater knowledge of Agile methodologies
Responsibilities
Full responsibility for the programming tasks assigned to me, some responsibility for deciding future work practices during research tasks
Support & Guidance
Team planned several training exercises for me to use to learn design practices and general codebase during first months Full freedom to seek assistance whenever necessary from other developers or the team's senior developer
Culture
Very positive - special emphasis made to promote company culture even remotely, peer briefings for any member of staff to present about relevant topics, fortnightly all hands calls to keep everyone informed on the state of the business
