Overview
- writing up bank note utilizing the CAMEL framework (capital, asset quality, management & esg, earnings, liquidity) -thematic research (i.e. cyber security) - keeping up with macro FI trends - attending client meetings to understand bank specific changes
Skills
- communication (developed stronger communication skills virtually) - technical expertise (stronger understanding of financials specific technicals) - time management (managing time wisely especially during a work from home environment)
Responsibilities
- given substantial work that was very much relevant to the team - opportunity to present my work to the wider senior team - overall felt very much part of the team, with ability to participate most team calls, meetings, client meetings
Support & Guidance
- received an amazing amount of support - everyone was very willing to share, help out, and support - had daily calls with my manager to keep up with the work I was doing - always felt very welcomed to ask questions towards anyone in the firm
Culture
very supportive, welcoming, and friendly - always felt like it was very easy to have a chat with someone and ask questions, and everyone was very willing to share what they know and help out!

i really thoroughly enjoyed it - had the most incredible support system, and really enjoyed the work that i did. it was challenging and i've learnt a lot!
