Overview
Introductory level role into asset management. Day-to-day work involves attending meetings with the team and external clients/ fund managers, completing data tasks (e.g. Excel, Morningstar), a lot of networking, conducting research for the team, attending intern development activities, working towards your final objective project.

Responsibilities
More admin/ data tasks, networking and meeting-shadowing in the first few weeks. In the latter half, I was given individual big projects to work towards, with guidance from senior members of the team
Support & Guidance
Quite a lot - everyone in my team was very approachable, and when I wanted to chat with people from other teams, they were all very friendly
Culture
It was hard to say as the internship was virtual... But everyone I spoke to was very nice and approachable

I really enjoyed networking with a wide range of people and being given more responsibility in the second half of the internship

Show that you have strong communication skills and you are keen to learn and network. ESG is also a strong focus of the company investment ethos - so look into that
