Overview
Involved reading valuation reports and following a similar structure and layout to replicate the same for different properties. Time out of the office to inspect properties in advance of valuations.
Skills
Developed my attention to detail which is required when taking into account the number of factors which influence a valuation. Market awareness when searching for and finding comparable properties. Multi-tasking as was comparing multiple properties at the same time.
Business Insight
It was helpful to be in the office and have the opportunity to gain a greater understanding of the many different reams within the business and the different roles which they play.
Culture
Everyone within the office environment was extremely friendly and welcoming, showing that it has a very good atmosphere and general culture. There was team drinks and events through the two weeks which showed their welcoming side and that it is not all about work.
Your Impressions
I very much enjoyed the insight as it offered an opportunity to meet many people and understand part of what another team in the company does. The talks were very informative and from a wide array of business functions.

Ensure you research the company and explain specifically why you want to work there, they in particular value their Savills culture so place extra emphasis on this.
