Overview
Working within teams to audit a control for the bank. The role also includes numerous development and learning sessions to further your understanding of the business as a whole
Skills
Mindfulness, basic data analytics, improved teamwork, communication, and time management skills, as well as more technical knowledge of the audit process
Responsibilities
Yes, I was assigned real tasks that were part of audit work currently ongoing in the bank
Support & Guidance
Weekly sessions with a grad buddy who acts as a mentor throughout the process were key to my development over the 8 week internship
Culture
Positive atmosphere, lots of great wellbeing resources and a positive work life balance business, great ethos and look after all their staff really well especially when it comes to professional exams and training

I really enjoyed it, learned lots of new interesting information, met lots of professionals who I thought I'd never meet and had a great time with other interns while doing it
