Overview
Lots of networking, making creative solutions to problems. Understanding and interpreting data.
Skills
Most important skill is time management and multi tasking. You will have a lot of tight deadlines all at once.
Responsibilities
Yes lots. I worked independently on my main project. Also took charge of the engagement team and made the monthly team newsletter
Support & Guidance
Received support with coping with stress etc. Received support with projects too, all though there was an emphasis on being independant
Culture
Excellent. Very open culture. This was tangible, even in a virtual environment
Your Impressions
Enjoyed immensely, although was very stressful. It was a shame that I felt that the whole internship was an interview for the Gradscheme, but I learned a lot nonetheless.
Yes
Most important thing is not technical expertise or industry knowledge, but soft skills. Showcase your team work skills, project management skills etc.
