The Role
The work was tedious and no adjustments were given for my skill set.
Placement students are seen as the people to blame for everything or use for the tasks no one wants to do and are not taken seriously.
I continually asked for help as I am dyslexic and was not given any.
I was busy on occasions but not given enough work in general.
In my second role I was given responsibility for reports to executives which is a high risk strategy that didnt work with my personal skill set but dont let me put you off.
They claim to give large amounts of help but actually placement students are expected to be competent after 1 or 2 months and to stop learning and start delivering results then.
The Company
I was looked upon as an outcast for being overly happy and talkative with colleges.
In the first role my team had one week's notice of my arrival and so it took ages to get a proper job set up.
They expected me to be self taught and not expect help.

The Culture
The student social scene was absolutely excellent and I will be keeping in contact with people.
Very good value
Very good nightlife
One good advantage of this role was that you can do giveback.
