Overview
As an intern we had 1.5 weeks of training from firm-wide level down to our specific area of work. We then were assigned onto projects, depending on what we had said our interests were. In these projects we were working with teams on live work.
Skills
I have developed my skills in R and Excel and learnt a lot about the area of Cyber Risk. I have also learnt a lot about the world of work and developed by personal and professional skills/
Responsibilities
Yes! I got to produce work that will likely be used or adapted by the PwC teams.
Support & Guidance
I felt very supported without but also challenged in my work which was a great balance. We had a buddy to support us throughout the internship and on all our projects we had people we could ask questions and get help if we needed it.
Culture
A great company culture with strong values. The general atmosphere was very welcoming. There was time for socials and everyone was happy to give time to chat to you or catch up about their work.

It was great experience and I really enjoyed it, I would love to work for PwC.

Go for it! Put your preparation into the application, make sure you research the role and that it is something you are interested and passionate about. Be yourself in the application process and give it a shot! You never know what doors might open up for you for your future career!
