Overview
The internship at Buro Happold offers an insight into what a career at the company might look like. The focus of the internship was in Sustainability and Physics, with particular focus given to Computational Engineering, Parametric Modelling, and Energy Simulations.
Skills
Yes, the placement both helped me develop skills and learn new skills.
Responsibilities
Yes, I got to participate in several projects and competitions, I also were assigned several computational tasks with connection to the industry. During the placement I joined both internal meetings and meetings with external parties.
Support & Guidance
I received continuous guidance and support throughout the internship which helped me with the tasks I was given.
Culture
The company atmosphere was very welcoming and supportive. The teams I was working in were very friendly and helpful.
Your Impressions
I very much enjoyed my internship, I felt like I got to develop and learn a lot of useful skills in a very supportive environment, and got an idea of what working in the industry is like.
