Overview
A jam-packed day full of business spotlight sessions, desk shadowing, development trainings. Also, the opportunity to network with colleagues from a range of different roles.
Skills
I have learnt a lot of technical skills that are required in commercial banking. Softer skills that have been developed include communication, relationship-building, time management.
Responsibilities
As the program is only for 8 weeks, not much responsibility given in terms of job tasks. More related to intern business projects and internal presentations.
Support & Guidance
A lot of support is given throughout the internship program. From an Early Careers contact team, line manager, grad buddy, mentor scheme etc. A wide variety of people to help you develop your network and wider knowledge.
Culture
Very welcoming, friendly and innovative culture. A strong focus on Our Purpose - sustainability, D&I, wellbeing.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed my internship and would recommend to apply as it is an invaluable experience.
