Overview
It involved hearing from BDO employees on what the company is like. We could ask them anything we wanted and would always receive great answers. There were presentations and activities intended to aid and reflection and even understand ourselves better.
Skills
We got to do a group presentation which definitely honed my teamwork skills. Furthermore, presenting to members of the BDO team meant we had to utilise confidence and put our presentation skills to use.
Business Insight
It was really great as we were told what characteristics and skills were needed for each role. This helped us attendees identify which role suits us and our goals. This in tandem with the self reflection activities certainly helped to clarify some of the career options available.
Culture
It was very welcoming and friendly. The employees were always open for a chat and were very understanding when it came to tech issues.

I really enjoyed the virtual experience as it was structured really well and had a variety of activities and presentations.
