Overview
Organising meetings across Pfizer, agencies and 3rd party companies. Ensuring all correct procedures are followed, reviewing and referencing documents for public or clinical dissemination. Taking part in your own projects; Womens health group, interviewing country managers, streamlining processes
Skills
Most importantly; how to speak confidently, concisely and professionally. This goes for in-person and virtual meetings as well as emails. First impressions are important, so introducing yourself in a virtual world is essential. I have learn how meticulous you need to be when working with drugs, and how to reach out to people when you are struggling
Responsibilities
Yes! Although everything we did as an undergraduate had to be overseen and approved by managers, if we had a specific project we would like to work on, we could! We were able to write a letter to an editor, set up a #JOY club and participate in projects that will be used in the UK and worldwide
Support & Guidance
Just the right amount. If we had a project idea, our managers would guide us and advice us we we could have the best outcome
Culture
Great! There were 4 major cultural values #JOY #EQUITY #EXCELLENCE #COURAGE
Your Impressions
Massively, I am so thankful that i decided to apply to pfizer, even in COVID times. It has been the biggest year of personal growth I have experienced, professionally as well. I would do it all over again!
Yes
Do the best you can, and don't put on a front at interviews. They are really looking for your own personality, and it becomes clear after a few months that some people were not so honest. Because pfizer read my own and my colleagues personalities clearly, I have made firm friends in other undergraduates. Teamwork is so important, but some teams may need someone to steer conversation
