Overview
Worked on different tech projects with a group of interns coding and using cloud tools. Learning a lot of new skills and meeting loads of people who are always happy to help
Skills
Loads of new skills. HSBC are great in helping you learn so much through free courses and training. I have definitely learned a lot of useful industry knowledge in tech and financial software development.
Responsibilities
I think we were given the perfect amount of responsibility
Support & Guidance
There was always someone willing to help and we never had an issue that did not get solved in a day.
Culture
It was very nice chatting to all the people and we got exposure to so many different business lines
Your Impressions
I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the internship was. I didn't expect to do as much hands-on experience and how lovely everyone was
Yes
Be yourself and be open! Ask loads of questions and smile! It's not about your technical skills, it's about how excited and motivated you are to learn, and about your communication skills!
