Overview
Working on various tasks in Risk in a team of 5 interns. Tasks ranging from cloud computing, writing Python scripts and building data pipelines.
Skills
Lots of new skills: data flow, building pipelines, generating fake data, new programming language. How to present technical updates to audience, how to write documentation, networking
Responsibilities
Able to take ownership over tasks, organise own time, work with senior leaders, suggest changes to work streams
Support & Guidance
Plenty, at least 2-3 meetings a day with more senior employees for guidance, updates
Culture
Culture was very inclusive. Encouraged to reach out with any questions. Senior management had a lot of time for us. Felt valued even at a low level of the company
