Overview
I worked with my assigned team on two valuations in Luton and Tottenham. This involved going on inspections, analysing data, finding comparables and writing the report. Alongside this I attended the program of events run by the graduate recruitment team.
Skills
Yes. I have really developed my ability to network within a business and integrate into a team.
Business Insight
It was really useful to have departmental overviews as for an outsider of the business, it is really difficult to navigate the structure of each of the different departments within Savills. It opened my eyes to the breadth of the career options available and what the day-to-day tasks and responsibilities involved in those roles.
Culture
Savills has a really good culture with most people that you meet in the business more than happy to go out of their way to help others, particularly younger people.
Your Impressions
For the most part I did enjoy the summer scheme, especially the zoom calls with the graduate team and meeting the other summer scheme students.
Yes
Research the company as they produce so much research and resources.
