Overview
Laboratory based role, use a variety of analytical techniques such as LC-MS and NMR. Development of analytical methods and technologies, research into new ways to implement them. Analysis of data conducted independently and written up coherently
Skills
Many opportunities to present, work in a team and communicate with other members of the organisation. Developed role specific skills such as independent use of analytical instrumentation and data processing software

Support was provided whenever it was asked for. There was always someone to ask for help and people were always extremely helpful
Culture
Despite the pandemic still tried to make the effort to facilitate company social events virtually such as escape rooms. There is a conscious effort to discuss and continually improve diversity within the company. Employees are given paid volunteering days which they can use as they wish
Your Impressions
THe placement exceeded my expectations, I found the whole experience very rewarding and thoroughly enjoyable. It was an incredable learning experience and I am grateful for the opportunity

Make sure you read up on the company and role relevant information before the interview day/ assessment centre. It may seem daunting at first but it is a great experience and everyone is very friendly so don't be afraid to ask questions!
