Overview
Great experience! Although the internship has been virtual, the BofA team has been an amazing job ensuring an experience that was beyond expectations. The internship started with a very extensive training period, following 7 weeks of at-the-desk working duties. The tasks and assignments were not easy at first, but the team provided continuous guidance and help at every steps. The bank provided both a mentor and a buddy, who were fundamental in navigating the internship.
Skills
Yes! I have learned a good amount of specific knowledge in the sector I was involved into. Additionally, I have learned how to prepare discussion materials and pitch books in an effective way.
Responsibilities
During the internship I was given quite a lot of responsibility, working on live deals and complex clients' problems. I has been a great learning experience which has given me the confidence to deal with challenges, under pressure and time pressure.
Support & Guidance
I received quite a lot of guidance - the buddy / mentor system was incredibly useful. The buddy is meant to be a friendly advice on day-to-day work. The mentor is a more senior banker who gave a much broader advice on long-term career.
Culture
Very friendly and welcoming! People were very proactive in meeting the new intern class and helping them feeling at home.
Your Impressions
