Overview
Dealing with client queries as they arrive, attending client meetings, and working on longer-term commercial projects with Operations teams.
Skills
Accountancy, financial analysis, customer service, sales, data analysis, Excel.
Responsibilities
I dealt with large clients, £20M+ annual revenue however, my input and impact in these meetings were minimal as expected. For some smaller projects (£0 - £100K revenue clients) I was able to take the lead and feel real responsibility.
Support & Guidance
I had daily meetings with my line manager, and weekly with HR.
Culture
Very positive and welcoming. No toxic culture, overall very positive.
Your Impressions
It could have been more challenging but in general, it was quite enjoyable. The only issue was some repetitive tasks.
Yes
Be very clear on your goals and intentions for the internship, this is a huge part of the interview process and will help you when you arrive.
