Overview
I was given a lot of responsibility from the start. While on the internship I was involved in 2 live deals, where I performed credit analysis and due diligence on clients; additionally I was given the responsibility of monitoring existing credit transactions. It was a virtual internship but my team involved me in all group discussions.
Skills
i was able to build my credit analysis by reading financial statements and doing industry due diligence. time management as there was a lot to do with tight deadlines
Responsibilities
From day one i was given a lot of responsibility. I was able to work on live deals as well being trust with doing annual reviews on existing lines of credit.
Support & Guidance
I was given a mentor and a buddy with whom I had weekly calls to discuss progress. I was also encouraged to reach out to senior members of staff across the bank who were always really helpful.
Culture
It was really friendly group environment where everyone was really helpful.

Try and reach out to as many people at the bank as possible before applying. I spoke with someone in my division prior to my interview and it really helped me throughout the process.
