Overview
My role was in the Commercial Banking division. Daily tasks involved attending team calls, using excel to analyse lending data and undertaking testing to make sure changes are implemented correctly.
Skills
I developed my communication, team-working and presentation skills. I gained some skills in Excel.
Responsibilities
Yes. I was given responsibility to do analysis work and present it to my line manager and to do system testing.
Support & Guidance
A lot of support both from my line manager through weekly catch up calls, as well as from the rest of the team.
Culture
Very friendly and supportive. Everyone I approached was willing to set some time for a chat and answer questions I had.
Your Impressions
It was an enjoyable experience. I completed a variety of tasks and shadowed colleagues in different roles within my team. There were many learning opportunities through training.
