Overview
Working on a project based upon a given problem statement. Working with a team of fellow interns with guidance from stakeholders. The project included producing a report on our given topic, before providing an in-depth presentation to employees across the business.

Responsibilities
I was given much responsibility. When working on the project during the internship, all decisions are down to yourself. As such you can hold as much responsibility as you feel the need or desire to. Never did you feel as if you were left on the side with no responsibility or ownership of work.
Support & Guidance
Training and information sessions were provided throughout the internship which helped to support and guide us. In addition we were provided with stakeholders to support our work, and existing graduates to support us in all manners. Further, if we required any further support or guidance we could contact anyone in the business and they were always happy to help!
Culture
Well suited to the current remote working environment. Relaxed and caring atmosphere where everyone is willing to help others. The environment also considers more than just the job through socials, and networks.
Your Impressions
Despite the changes having to be made to the internship due to Covid, I still very much enjoyed the internship. The challenges and work we faced was exciting, and all staff and the company culture was helpful. The internship has set me up for the rest of my degree and future career path, and has made me wish to join the full Centrica grad scheme.

Even if you think there is not a career path or job role at Centrica which suits you, do not let this put you off. There are so many opportunities for people of all backgrounds with all interests.
