Skills
Attention to detail, time management, Excel
Responsibilities
I was given many of the same responsibilities that a full-time analyst would have, with sufficient guidance of course and with increasing independence.
Support & Guidance
My team was always available for any concerns and whenever I needed guidance. Especially in the beginning the team took care to introduce me step by step into their business.
Culture
The culture was extremely friendly and open throughout the institution (which is arguably not the standard in this industry). People were always happy to reach out and catch up, which helped me make the most out of my time at the company.
Your Impressions
Overall, I had a very good time. Even though the precise role I held might not be where I want to start my career, there were plenty of opportunities to explore the wider business and find the thing that I'm really passionate about.
Yes
Try to understand what the division you are applying to is doing and why this is where you want to join. Previous experience is not required, there is plenty of opportunity to learn everything on the job.
