Overview
Helping the team out in preparing pitches, and live deal content for clients. This means joining internal and external calls with clients to prepare these materials. We also were given a final project to do on a company with an overview and valuation.
Skills
Time management, Excel, PowerPoint, FactSet. Managing expectations is a huge part and a main thing I takeaway from this.
Responsibilities
Yes, we were given a broad exposure to live deals. I was given real responsibility after an initial stage of gaining trust, but throughout the rest of the internship had great exposure.
Support & Guidance
There were buddies assigned to us, in my team and also across teams by HR which was very helpful. In terms of work, everyone I have worked with has been very approachable and understanding, and have taken time to explain things to me when I asked.
Culture
Full of interesting people to talk to, seniors are open to chats with interns and will make time to spend a solid hour or two with a group. There were many socials and deep dives into the company set up by HR which were great too.
Your Impressions
Amazing experience, would definitely want to return. I had a great team and enjoyed my time here whilst learning
Yes
Be your best self, but be yourself ultimately. Be confident and try to voice out your thoughts as much as possible to give others insight into how you think.
