Overview
As a summer analyst in the sales team, I took on the role as a sales support. This includes supporting the sales people in their daily tasks. For example, you would react to client request by sending them the information they require, you would participate in client meetings and perform various tasks within the team.
Skills
I developed my existing communication skills, be it spoken or written. The same goes for Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce etc.
Responsibilities
Yes, where it is possible, I was given responsibility. Also, the more you ask for it, the more you get.
Support & Guidance
I received a lot of guidance and support. Every person, no matter their level, was approachable and open to a conversation about support and guidance. Again, the more you ask for it, the more you get.
Culture
Great! It is a very open culture, i.e. everyone is approachable. Also, the environment was very supportive.

Demonstrate how you are different. Be creative in your application and show interpersonal skills. They want diverse and driven candidates, not a prototype who can only demonstrate good grades.
