Overview
I was working on a digitalisation project predominately, which involved uploading paper based documents to the online YouManage system. I did this through scanning and using a tracker that I created myself using Microsoft Excel. Furthermore, I was working with the ER team on disciplinary matters, flexible working requests and other general ER work.
Skills
The biggest skill I have developed is my communication, but I have also become much better at working as part of a team. I have significantly more knowledge of the laws and regulations involved in HR.
Responsibilities
I was given a lot of responsibility, I was working independently on the project.
Support & Guidance
It was always there if I needed it, I never felt nervous or worried to ask for help.
Culture
Fantastic, the culture of the company is its biggest strength in my eyes, very forward thinking and ahead of the curve, friendly and welcoming.
Your Impressions
I thoroughly enjoyed it, I loved having something to focus my time on and I felt that I could be useful whilst also developing my skills.
Yes
Be yourself, be passionate and be ready to indulge in the culture of the company.
