Overview
My role as an actuarial intern involves engaging in a variety of activities, such as training sessions, project work and client work.
Skills
I have learnt and developed a variety of skills, ranging from technical actuarial skills to communication & presentation skills. The training sessions teach us complex actuarial and statistical concepts as well as developing existing skills in word, excel and powerpoint. The weekly projects enable us to put these skills into practice, whether it be in the form of a presentation or devising an excel model.

Support & Guidance
We received a lot of support through training sessions and individual meetings with our buddy or team leaders.

The company culture is excellent, with everybody willing to help .
