Overview
Heavily involved in managing relationships and negotiations with suppliers, identifying and implementing cost reduction ideas within the process of production whilst also consolidating and analyzing relevant purchasing data. I was largely supportive in preparing the plant for Brexit and the changes to the customs process that affected the supply of goods and materials coming from within the EU. Implemented and oversaw productivity projects both internally within the plant and externally with suppliers, providing the plant positive cost savings.
Skills
Numerical and Data analysis have significantly improved. Better communication with colleagues. More confidence in presenting data and information.

My manager and colleagues in my department were always there for guidance and support. If I had any questions or problems I knew who to go to.

The company was very welcoming and planned events to keep the general morale atmosphere high during a tricky year due to the pandemic.
