Overview
My role involves weekly reporting and assisting my line manager with any presentations or data pulling, and also a student group project that runs throughout the year.
Skills
Excel, reporting using different databases, and networking in the organisation. I am a person that talks a lot, but I've now learnt how to listen to others as well.
Responsibilities
Yes I have, but they also taught me while giving me responsibility so it feels more like an opportunity and experience than stress or pressure from the team.
Support & Guidance
A lot. I have a wonderful line manager, mentor and buddy, a great team that I can reach out to for any questions, They have a very positive attitude and are always happy to help me out.
Culture
We have a lot of social events and activities and everyone tries their best to keep the team members engaged and not isolated even in Covid and virtual work. I would say that the company culture is warm and people centric, and I couldn't be happier with joining this company. We have great voluntary initiatives as well.
Your Impressions
I would give it a 10/10
Yes
Don't be afraid to be creative, to think out of the box. Here ideas are valued and encouraged. Don't be scared to ask questions as those questions could give way for solution that everyone is working towards. And most importantly, be yourself.
