Overview
Developing new software applications when needed, and applying fixes or changes to existing ones. Sometimes fixes also need to be applied to the company website.
Skills
I have learned how to develop new ASP .NET applications. I learned more about SQL and queries. I learned basic jQuery.
Responsibilities
For most of my work tasks, I was given full autonomy over them, I just needed to develop them to meet the required criteria.
Support & Guidance
My line manager was for the most part extremely busy with their own tasks, so I received some support from them. They pointed to online learning material available to me. I was free to ask my colleagues for help with anything I needed help with.
Culture
The company atmosphere was very laid back and relaxed. Everyone got on with their own tasks, but were willing to answer questions if asked.
Your Impressions
I thoroughly enjoyed it. There was very little that hampered the enjoyment.
