Yes, I was given my own project to lead and carry out.

Mentor and buddy provided. Regular meetings with team, manager and recruiters to check progress/how things were going.
Culture
Very welcoming and supportive, overall inclusive environment . Everyone wants to help and support you, even more senior figures have time for you. A lot of focus on training and making sure you have the correct tools to carry out your tasks.
Your Impressions
The internship was an amazing opportunity- they listened to my skills and gave me a very relevant role. I was provided with many different opportunities and was able to obtain many new skills, as well as develop existing ones. These will be invaluable going forward in my career. Every step throughout the internship was both useful and enjoyable
