Overview
Used programming language/tools differ from project to project. In my case the task were mostly adding new functionalities (sometimes also adding documentation) or doing online research in a new tool or feature that is supposed to be added.
Skills
I learned/developed my skills such as programming in Java, working in a team project and version control.
Responsibilities
I was working on a real project, but all I did was checked by my mentor or other employees.
Support & Guidance
My Line Manager was available most of the time if I would need any help. My mentor and other employees were very helpful and explained all new pieces of technology.
Culture
For interns that were in the office, there were several events available, but even working remotely we got a chance to get some time to integrate with the rest of the group and many other events were available online (yoga, movies, online games, etc.)
Your Impressions
I really liked working at Softwire; I learned a lot and the company culture suits me.
Yes
Don't stress too much if you don't have much prior experience with programming. Don't be afraid to ask questions!
