Overview
Engaging suppliers, working with various internal teams. Ownership of three projects and working to complete the projects and achieve targets.
Skills
I developed technical skills such as using excel and different databases and also my communication skills from having to create slide decks and present them.
Responsibilities
Complete autonomy and ownership over projects was given. But there was also support available whenever it was needed.
Support & Guidance
I was given support and guidance whenever I needed it. Tesco was extremely welcoming and the people are really helpful. I knew I could go to anyone for help when I needed it. My line manager and my team were extremely supportive.
Culture
The company culture was brilliant. It was extremely welcoming and friendly. You can tell that everyone really supports each other and wants everyone to do well.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed the internship and would recommend it to anyone. The application process is a bit long but definitely worth it if you get a place.
