    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • My role was to conduct research on vulnerable customers amongst members to inform ABI policy. This meant interviewing members and stakeholders, writing up calls, and presenting wider research and findings through a report and presentation.

  • Through this internship, I have developed my understanding of the field of Insurance. This includes areas such as policy and research and how companies such as ABI function in these spaces. Through the research I conducted, I have also gained a greater insight into themes such as vulnerable customers and how this intersects with Insurance.

  • The company culture was very friendly, open, and supportive. There were many opportunities to chat with a diverse range of individuals across teams which aided me in understanding ABI more.
