Overview
Coordinate daily and monthly reporting of HSE indicators (FR0t, environmental data, Near Miss) PPE management for the site including monitoring of consignment stock Coordinate and organise HSE compliance audits and trainings activities This year had a lot of COVID protocols to follow and keep up to date
Skills
Teamwork, time management and organization. You will also get IOSH training on Managing Safely
Responsibilities
Yes, there were lots of projects to get involved with e.g. Student Environmental Challenge. I was also updating the plant risk assessments
Support & Guidance
Lots of support ang guidance from the HSE Coordinator, as well as from the plant manager
Culture
Average office environment!

Overall I did enjoy the placement. There were certain aspects I didn't enjoy (as with any job) but overall it was a worthwhile experience
