Overview
Getting involved with work for a variety of clients, assisting team members with incoming queries and calculations. Networking with actuaries and actuarial students. Completing a group project.
Skills
I have developed my communication and interpersonal skills, as well as my time management and ability to manage workload. I have learnt how to ask effective questions to further my understanding and also developed my technical knowledge of the actuarial industry.
Responsibilities
From day one, we were given responsibility to complete client work and get involved with all types of work.
Support & Guidance
All members of the retirement team were willing to help and support us with our work.
Culture
The company culture and general atmosphere is a very positive, relaxed and efficient one. It is a great working environment to be a part of with everyone willing to help each other out when workload is high.
