The Role
I really enjoyed my experience as an intern at Xerox and would happily return as an undergraduate.
Everyone member of my team and as an organisation are very friendly and approachable
Manager and collegues were always there if ever I needed help or advice.
Although I have peaks and slower periods I always have work that I can get on with
I feel that I was given lots of responsibility throughout my experience and was treated as a full time member of the team rather than a student,Often with people not realising that I was a only on a year work placement.
I feel that the experience, skills, routine and management of my time will no dout benifit me with my further studies and future jobs.
The Company
Sometimes office was very quiet and didnt really do anything as a team eg outings like other teams did.
I feel that the whole process was very well organised
I was given training and guidence throughout my placement and if ever there was anythign I wanted to better in my manager would help.
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
Working from home
I feel that due to my experience here I would happily return as a full timer
The Culture
By far the best experience and made the placement for me was the other students being there as welll. Made the year!
Living costs were pretty good compared to price and socialsing costs depended what you did but was ok as well
In the area we worked nightlife was not good, but living close to london definitly made up for it
WIth other students there were daily opportunities, with other members of the team not to much
