Overview
My role included developing internet banking assets for display on the mobile app and website, targeting existing customers of the company. Assets promoted packaged bank accounts, overdrafts as well as upgrade conversions, alongside many others.
Skills
I have learnt many new skills such as professional communication skills, stakeholder management, IT skills, data analysis skills, conversion communication and copy write skills, presentation skills, project ownership skills and many more.
Responsibilities
Yes. I have managed projects end-to-end and have been entrusted ownership of projects.
Support & Guidance
The support has be brilliant through out. I have always had multiple points of call such as a line manager, mentor and wider team. There has always been someone to contact throughout and every member of staff has been so helpful and people are never reluctant to help. We also had regular inter session to help with access to the graduate scheme,
Culture
Company culture at LBG is incredibly positive and supporting. LBG are very interested in the personal and professional development of their interns. The general atmosphere is very friendly and I always felt welcome either when working from home or in the office.
Your Impressions
I have really enjoyed my whole internship as the working has been challenging, but never too much. I have really enjoyed getting now so many new people and getting to understand how a real business functions.
Yes
Ensure you properly understand the company culture as this is one of the most important things to Lloyds. Be you. Lloyds don't expect you to be this 'perfect candidate' they look for somebody who is willing to work, who is friendly and who is going to fit well into the company culture.
