Overview
Rotational program in analytics and sales department - focus on client relation management, product deployment, fundamental training in different asset class & presentations.
Skills
Asset class - very thorough introduction in equity, fixed income, FX, etc. Product knowledge - great knowledge in Bloomberg terminal as well as enterprise solutions, including PORT, MARS, BQL and BQuant Soft skills - extensive training on client relationship management by liaise clients on daily basis
Responsibilities
Yes - contact client directly on phone on a daily basis to update the latest product features. Participated work shadowing session and had multiple meetings with clients with my direct sales manager and senior managers.
Support & Guidance
Great mentorship program with mentors from both sales & analytics department. Immense help from internal network - had meaningful networking throughout the 10-weeks period and definitely helped to expand my personal network beyond the company itself.
Culture
Very transparent, down to earth and flat culture. 9-6 schedule, reasonable workload for an intern.
Your Impressions
Absolutely enjoyed the internship and the resources I have received over the 10-week period. Would definitely recommend for students and recent graduates as a kick start for career.
Yes
Make sure to understand the culture, core value and product clearly. Good knowledge for the company's competitors is a plus.
