    Overview

  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
  • Was given a customer engagement project to work on for the duration of the internship. Involved data analysis, liaising with people and teams across the business to gather information, and creating presentations. Final presentation on a decision RE the project to a senior director.

    Skills

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
  • Crash course in SQL, which is used frequently, as well as in building presentation decks. You're very much in charge of your own project, so time management and taking ownership for your work are crucial skills you develop.

    Culture

  • 5. What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
  • Very positive! Friendly, relaxed atmosphere, with a clear focus on the work being done - people take their work seriously, but don't take themselves too seriously. People are always very happy to help with questions or problems, and even as an intern you're treated with complete respect.

    Your Impressions

  • 6. To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
  • I really enjoyed it. The onboarding process is very smooth. Work is interesting and varied, and the company culture is a big plus. Unfortunately working from home for the entire duration, but had opportunities to meet up with colleagues outside of work hours, which made it feel more 'real' in a sense.
