Overview
A lecture introduction to NatWest's purpose led business with some interactive elements. Opportunities to learn about our area of specialisation from people working in that area and from graduates. Many networking opportunities through breakout rooms.
Skills
Learnt about networking on zoom. Have also learnt a lot about NatWest's purpose and how to pass the assessment centre to get an Internship.
Business Insight
Very handy hearing from employees and graduates directly. Couldn't get a full view (I.e. by being in the office and observing) but this would've been difficult over zoom. Would've been nice to have been given tasks related to the roles to really learn about the area.
Culture
Very, very positive. Everyone is super helpful, supportive, and welcoming. Seems like a great place to enter into the industry, as the environment is very pro-learning and pro-change for the better. The purpose-led culture adds a lot of positivity as they are all honourable causes.
Your Impressions
To a fair extent. Would've liked a lot more interactivity so it would be more engaging.
Yes
Go for it. It was very helpful and a good place to start with banking. Ask any questions, and make lots of notes/take pictures of the slides as it is all great content for the interviews in the assessment centre stage.
