Overview
We had sessions where we learnt about NatWest's purpose, its Employee led Networks and about the business area we applied to. It was very interactive with lots of small group projects related to the sessions and a q and a at the end of each session. We also got to network with employees and other people on our route.
Skills
Gave a bit more practice in group work and networking with more senior members of the bank.
Business Insight
It was interesting to know about how different graduate schemes operated differently depending on the area you go into, such as whether you rotate round different teams or not. The bank was also very clear on how we would progress from this insight week, to an internship and then to the graduate scheme.
Culture
The people who ran and took part in the insight week were very friendly. They also informed us of all the employee led networks and their initiatives that make Natwest a great place to work.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed how it was interactive and that the environment was very welcoming. It was also interesting to learn about the business area I had applied for.
