Overview
The insight week was a five-day period. During the insight, we were given different presentations so that we can know more about the business areas in the Natwest. We were divided into small breakout rooms, in this session, we can meet many students and staff at the company. It is useful for us to build some network and learn from each other. The whole insight week was online, but we can still know many things and get involved in the program. It is fantastic!
Skills
Through this insight week, the communication skill for me has been improved because it is really a good opportunity for me to contact with different students from different universities. Though we may be from different majors, we can still talk a lot of things about study, lives and works. Meanwhile, for the professional skills, the insight week helps me to know more about the company, compared with before, I get to know what specific area I will prefer at the Natwest. The staff who shared their ideas and experiences are really beneficial to me.
Business Insight
It feels like you are not so confused anymore, during the session, I have known the role it played in the daily work. The business area I chose was Risk. From the insight, I knew it is a job which should be dealt with some data, also it will communicate with people who we serve to, we need to decrease the probability that our clients may get the risk. After I specifically knew the job, I found I was more interested in it. It is very beneficial for my future career as I am more committed.
Culture
From the insight, it covers three aspects. I learnt Natwest is a company which can keep a good balance between environment and Business. it can offer a good service for customers and satisfy their needs, also, it will pay attention to the environment. It can get sustainable development. When I join the insight week, I can feel the Natwest has a good atmosphere if you got any questions just ask, and the staff will tell you everything they know, also they will give us a lot of useful suggestions according to their own experiences. The culture is very inclusive.

Before I joined the insight week, I was a little nervous, but when I joined it, I found it was really nice so that I am very enjoying it. I can learn many things from the week, not only the professional knowledge about the business area but also some network with different students. It is really nice when we share different ideas together, from the insight I have known many interesting ideas. I think it is a good experience for me.
