Overview
Explored the work of the IB, Equity S&T, Equity Research team. Engaged with analysts discussing their day at work and received advice on how to cope with difficulties occurring at work. Introduced to the various employee resource groups. Given the opportunity to participate in an accelerated interview for the 2022 Summer Analyst Intern programme.
Skills
I was able to develop communication skills and my understanding of the role of an analyst.
Business Insight
It was inspiring to actually talk to analysts from different teams. In addition, learning about how the different teams work together properly introduced me to the work ethics of Jefferies.
Culture
Jefferies has a diverse work culture that values development of the firm and its staff. It always strives to reach its best and higher.

Amazing experience for students newly entering a career in banking and finance.
Yes
I would recommend applying if you have a similar work ethic as Jefferies. You would need to aim high and work hard to achieve it. Helping others and working as a team must be your strength as well. Do your research and think about how this firm can help you develop in the future.
