Overview
Worked across several workstreams at Expedia Group to maximise the value of a mutli-year platform migration; generated data-driven hypotheses and turned into detailed requirements for the team of engineers; collaborated with the design and analytics team to get features on the live-site to improve customer experience.

Responsibilities
Yes, throughout the placement, I co-lead two teams and I was involved in several major projects. For one of the platform projects, I was the only product point-of-contact for stakeholders across different departments.
Support & Guidance
My line manager provided constant support and guidance for me throughout the year. He guided me to reach out to the right people in other teams, and he also encouraged me to be involved in different major projects. He encouraged me to understand my skillsets in the workplace, which helped me to identify my strengths to make use of, and weaknesses to be improved for my professional development.
Culture
The working environment is really supportive, colleagues are friendly and easy-going. Juniors and seniors always have the chance to meet and chat.

I enjoyed it a lot. This working experience has provided me with a lot of learnings and insights for my personal and professional growth, as well as a change of lifestyle with the importance of work-life balance and a supportive working environment.
