Overview
The day provided an insight into the Bank of England, through a variety of panel sessions with both experienced employees and recent graduates/interns. During the day, we were also given hints and tips for applications to the Bank and an overview of the different programmes that are on offer.
Skills
The insight day has helped develop my understanding of the Bank of England and what it has to offer. I believe this will allow me to make a far more competitive application in the future.
Business Insight
It was incredibly engaging and motivating hearing about the range of opportunities within the Bank of England. It was also good to know about the flexibility given to recent graduates to work in different areas to gain exposure to a wider range of roles.
Culture
The culture was incredibly welcoming, which creating a very inclusive atmosphere throughout the day. There were plenty of opportunities to ask questions and all participants provided invaluable advice.
