Overview
Learning about financial products, mock trading, python / coding, data analysis, final presentation
Skills
Learnt Excel VBA, learned about financial products and about macro markets, learned interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
Yes. I was given my own data analysis project to look at the desks' portfolio risk
Support & Guidance
We were given buddies who were graduates as well as mentors who were directors or managing directors to help us before and during the internship. We were given clear managers who were very helpful in navigating joining the desk and giving meaningful work
Culture
Very helpful and friendly. It was harder because of covid, even though we were in person we did not have any events organised by the company which made it harder in the earlier stages to interact with other interns. However everyone I met was nice
Your Impressions
I enjoyed it a lot. I felt like I learnt a lot while I was there and am hoping to join in 2022.
Yes
Reach out to HR directly for more information on the interview process as they were very helpful when I was applying. Additionally, reach out to previous interns on linked in as they will know the most. I joined honestly because it was one of the last internships still accepting applicants however I am glad I did
