The Role
I have thoroughly enjoyed my internship at CR-UK, I have been lucky to be part of a supportive team and department, have learned lots about working in a large organisation, have improved my organisation skills have learnt more about the third sector
I always felt valued, by some more than others, but that's inevitable, especially given that some colleagues aren't aware of what you're working on
My manager provided me with excellend support and guidance throughout the internship, and the department and was very welcoming and supportive
I was always busy but my work load was manageable
I was given an awful lot of responsibility for an intern, which I relished
I have definitely gained invaluable work experience by being in a large organisation; understanding various processes, understanding different departments and different ways of working
The Company
There is a great ethos in the department I have been working in, the general atmosphere has been professional and focussed whilst also being warm and friendly. Plus there's always lots going on; lots of events and bake sales etc
The internship was organised very well, with ample training and induction into the company and team
I have had some great opportunities at CR-UK, and personal development is actively encouraged
Subsidised Canteen
National Travel
Company Parties/Events
I am hoping to secure a job with CR-UK in the future
The Culture
There are lots of interns, so lots of friendly faces and lots of opportunities to socialise
Not inexpensive but not cheap
Am yet to try it, but there are great bars and restaurants
There are endless opportunities for getting stuck in outside of office hours from sporting events to balls
