Skills
Primarily interpersonal skills and a general understanding of site-based work
Responsibilities
I was progressively given more and more responsibility at a rate that pushed me but I was comfortable with. Additionally when I showed interest in an area this was acknowledged and I was given more work to do in this area.
Support & Guidance
I was always working under a supportive team who were happy to give guidace adn helped me push myself.
Culture
There was a very positive atmosphere, with some disagreements and pettiness going on between managers working in opposing buildings. This so metimes led to me being involved in office disputes.
Your Impressions
I really enjoyed my placement as I felt I really excelled in a working environment I was sceptical of going into. I do however want to go into a different type of engineering work than that I was working on in my placement, but it still greatly developed me as a person.
